CAFWCL: Hasaacas Ladies beat Malabo Kings 3-1 in opening game
Hasaacas Ladies secured their first win in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League with a 3-1 win over Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo.
The Ghana Women’s Premier League Champions totally dominated the game and were rewarded with the first goal of the night courtesy Evelyn Badu who found herself in space and shot across goal to give Yussif Basigi’s ladies the lead.
In total control of the game, Hasaacas Ladies ended the first half with a 1-0 advantage.
The second half was no different from the first as the Hasmal Ladies dominated play and were rewarded for their patience when Pepertual Agyekum’s corner kick somehow found its way into the net.

Malabo Kings reduced the deficit in the final moments of the game in hope to upset Hasaacas Ladies.
However, some poor defending saw Evelyn score a brace and Hasmal’s third goal of the night as they put the game to bed with what was literally the last kick of the game.
The win place Hasaacas Ladies at par with Wadi Degla who also saw off AS Mande in the opening game of the maiden competition.
